Victoria
Victoria, built on the craggy southern end of Vancouver Island is the capital of the province of British Columbia. Victoria’s British colonial past shows in its Victorian architecture, as can be seen at Craigdarroch Castle mansion. The world-famous Butchart Gardens, featuring 55 acres of vivid floral displays, plus statuary, water items and a carousel, is one of many formal gardens in the city. Abounding with parkland, Victoria offers great opportunities for outdoor activities.
CJE is proud to come to historic Victoria where we pay tribute to Canada 150 with a nine-panel Exhibition showcasing almost 250 years of contributions by the Canadian Jewish community to Canadian society – from Human Rights and Architecture to Sports and the Arts.
